What happened in 2019? (Not much)

Of the 153 session laws passed during the 2019 sessions, most of them were… You guessed it… Sick Leave Banks! Followed closely by bills affecting municipal governments and local employees.

Which means there is still plenty of action pending for 2020!

In legislative sessions past, the number of enacted bills often jumps from the 100s in the first year to the 400s in the second! And since over 5,200 bills still await committee decisions, it’s looking like we can expect the same for the 191st General Court.
