Who’s (not) running in 2022?
Another day, another announcement that a legislator is leaving their post.
Whether they’ve been tapped by the Biden administration, declared their candidacy for higher office, or decided not to run for re-election, the sheer number of legislators moving on is impressive.
Here’s a current list of who is leaving and where they plan on going (as of 2/3/2022):

Rep. Nika Elugardo (D) (15th Suffolk) - Running for State Senate (2nd Suffolk)
Rep. Tami Gouveia (D) (14th Middlesex) - Running for Lt. Governor
Rep. Sheila Harrington (R) (1st Middlesex) - Tapped to be Clerk Magistrate of the Gardner District Court
Rep. Liz Miranda (D)(5th Suffolk) - Running for State Senate (2nd Suffolk)
Rep. Jacob Oliveira (D) (7th Hampden) - Running for State Senate (Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester
